Creamy Cheese & Ham French Toast Sandwiches
Preheat the oven or an air fryer to 180 ºC.
Mix the cheddar cheese, cream cheese and chives in a medium bowl.
In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, milk and salt together until well combined.
Spread the cream cheese mixture on the inside of both slices of the sandwich and add a piece of gypsy ham. Close the sandwich with the remaining slice. Soak the bread slices in the egg mixture for about 1-2 minutes a side until soaked through. (Note: if you find it easier, you can soak the bread slices individually before assembling).
Melt a dollop of Flora Gold in a large frying pan over medium heat.
Fry each sandwich until golden, adding extra Flora Gold during the frying process.
Place the sandwiches onto a baking tray and finish in the oven or air fryer for roughly 10 minutes for the egg to cook through. Enjoy while warm and melty.
