125g Flora Plant BUTTER™, room temperature 110g Selati Brown Sugar 125ml Golden syrup 1 Egg yolk 375g All-purpose flour, sifted 1 tsp Ground ginger 2 tsp Ground mixed spice Royal icing M+Ms

Preparation (for 6 portion) for

Fun Gingerbread Men


  1. Preheat oven to 180C. Line 2 baking trays with baking paper and grease.
  2. Use an electric mixer to beat the Flora Plant BUTTER, sugar and golden syrup together in a bowl until light and creamy.
  3. Add the egg yolk and beat to combine.
  4. Add flour, ginger and mixed spice. Mix until dough forms.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap. Place in the fridge for 30 mins to chill.
  6. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to 3mm-thick. Use a gingerbread man cutter to cut out shapes and place on the lined tray.
  7. Bake for 10-12 mins or until lightly golden in colour

Pipe icing onto each gingerbread man and decorate with Smarties or M&M’s.
